Thanks Susan Lunsford!

I just received this bit of inspiration from Susan Lunsford and  I would like to share it with you.

"Dear Expressions Journal.  We would like to receive the Journal each quarter in PDF... I have enclosed $28 for the year.  I have missed you for a long time.  Once I always purchased the paper in front of Walgreens on Brady.  A friend hipped me to the website...YAY!!!
Thank you,
Susan Lunsford "

Thank you for reading!

It
's been 18 years, 7 months, and 7 days since the first
Xpressions Journal Quarterly rolled off the press and hit Milwaukee's Avenues, Boulevards, and Streets to a warm and sometimes sensational acceptance by Milwaukeeans - north, east, west and south.
There have been so many changes here at The eXpressions Journal over those years and days.  Now, the biggest change for The eXpressions Journal is upon us.  Here's the change: The eXpressions Journal, beginning with this fall's edition, will be a free monthly, available at many fine businesses throughout the Milwaukee and some suburban areas.  The Fall edition will start at 10,000 -15,000 circulation.  And we'll grow from there each month until we taper off to about 100,000 circulation.
What won't change is our dedication in publishing the individual voice.  What won't change is our dedication to Writers, Poets, Artists, and Artisans that we've serviced over the years.
So look for us in your neighborhood.  If you need promotional space, Advertise with us!  We'll need that to stay free.  We're excited!  If you have any questions that you'd like answered, call me at the office.  Get your input.  (414) 372-4151.

In Living Memory.
.. of the individuals who reside today in the earth but yet have not been published or archived.  In living memory of those who sketched out their first poem, their first piece of art, their original expression, that never found its place on the pages of the journals and dailies throughout the world.  Their expression was never heard clearly, historically.  In living memory of the voices that were never taught to put those expressions in words, to see them in print, to share them with readers unknown.  In living memory of the Individual Voice - man and woman - throughout our town, our city, our state, our country, and throughout the world.  And those scientifically 'throughout the universe' - whose self-expression has not been heard.  In living memory of the many events in our lives that were not published and recorded.  In living memory of You, who have an opportunity today to have your self-expression published in this rare gem and opportunity to be included in the only Book of the Individual Expression - the voice of You.  Thank you for your time. Thank you for your experience. You Are Rare.  Send in a Submission Today.  All the information you'll find inside.

From the Founder/Publisher and Head of the publishing vanguard of the Individual Voice.
Bernell Trammell.

If you participated last year, we need you this year too, Thanks.  If you didn't hear about our Recycling Fundraiser Campaign last year, thank you for reading this information.  Because I'm sure, if you're environmentally sane, and you're earth conscious, and you like to do the right thing, then the eXpressions Journal Recycling Fundraiser Campaign, is something you'll want to take part of.

Expressions Fest Update

The Expressions Journal Festival ran into a few road blocks.  Permits, organizing, lack of volunteers.  And so, we're hoping to make it a reality in 2011.  This will give all the eXpressions Journal faithful the opportunity to prepare for participation to the event in June 2011.

So thank you, those that did have interest, and you can still contact me by phone on that day and to let us know where you'd like to participate with the eXpressions Journal.

And the good news is the eXpressions Journal's Office/Gallery is still under construction at 915 E Wright St.  Anybody with some skills or some volunteer time they'd like to put in, call me.  Thanks.  Publisher Bernell Trammell.

HELP!

Publisher's Update:  Hello, it's April 3, 2010!  I hope everybody is having a positive Passover, a wonderful Easter, or celebrating a wonderful New Years.  All of which helps us to express our internal talent.

This year began positively, we're reaching more individuals thirsting to express themselves, and that's a good thing.  We also have been able to connect with our Subscribers and offer them the wonderful opportunity to advance their participation in the eXpressions Journal (EJ) through their advertisement of their creative talent and trades.

That's a crucial development here at the eXpressions Journal for us, as well as for our Expressionists and Subscribers.  Because, here with the low tide in the economy it's encouraging to the Subscribers and Artisans to be able to advertise their talent for just a nominal fee, that doesn't break the creative bank.

In the upcoming months, with the help of some interns coming on, there will possibly be the rejuvenation of the eXpressions Journal's Office/Gallery.  With the help of my in-laws we may be operating out of the office and gallery at 915 by Expressions Fest date (June 11-12, 2010). That would be real positive - so we wouldn't have to vagabond around the city for a place to establish our first fundraising event to support the mission of The eXpressions Journal as well as the distribution and promotion of our Writers' and Artisans' talent.

Stay tuned! Always the call is for your participation if you're in the Milwaukee area. If you are not in the Milwaukee area there's pounds and pounds of assistance you could be giving. Whether it's through an internship or whether it's through some volunteer work, your two hands are needed.  So get in contact with us at the office, we're looking for fresh people throughout 2010!  414-372-4151  Publisher@eXpressionsJournal.com

Tell us what's going on!  Tell us where's the best place to express yourself in your city or town. Let us know what you would like to see in the EJ.  Let us know if you got your iPad.  And contact us if you make iPad apps so the EJ can jump on the App bandwagon so we're not left behind in the dust 414-372-4151. Which over 2008 and 2009 there were several bad spirited businesses who were hoping that we'd be left in the dust.

We have no plans to be left in the dust, our plans are as they were in the beginning to show ourselves in the lead of gathering, publishing, and recording individuals from all walks of life and culture and expression.

So, I'm Publisher Bernell Trammell, you may get a call from me soon, jump on the bandwagon, we're running our Spring Subscription drive and Spring Ad drive!  And Spring Volunteer Drive!  And Spring Worker Drive!  And Spring Building Drive!  And Spring Intern Drive!  And Spring Product Drive!  And Door-to-door representative Drive!  And Remodeling Drive!

And as you can see - everything is in super drive.  So basically my point is - if you love the eXpressions Journal and want to see the EJ grow, get involved. If you're a newbie, welcome!  Let me take you by the hand and show you what we're doing here around town.  Thanks.
